A little dated but clean and in good repair. Not much variety for breakfast but what they have is good (my kids loved the waffles). The pool is clean and I personally saw maintenance come in more than once to check the pH, and the whirlpool is drained and cleaned weekly. I'll be in town regularly for medical appointments and will stay here every time.
I called Super 8s phone number before arriving which sent me to a call center, the guy was a bit pushy about getting me to reserve although I'm not 100% sure it was a Super 8 rep I was talking to. Turns out the deal I was offered on the phone was better than the front desk could offer, so I should have taken it. Book in advance via phone or Internet to save a couple more bucks.
Place looks like its in a bit of a sketchy neighborhood but the beds were clean and super comfortable. Free Wifi and Breakfast (if you're up that early) and LCD tv with lots of channels. Place is dated but price is right and up until the vacuum, I had a good sleep.
Wouldn't recommend to anyone, the fridge sneller so bad that we put our food in the car. The room sneller like smoke and support to been non smoking room.. the front desk lady looked unprofessional... Poor choice of hotel
Great staff. Decent location, any thing and everything you could want is with one mile. Plus the rooms are large enough for four people and clean
More comfortable than Motel 6! Cozy, roomy and each room has its own fridge and microwave. More pricey than the 6 and a large family has to get two rooms, not cool. Continental breakfast is nice and the indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi is a nice touch. Nearby restaurant's and grocery store add to the convenience. Not to mention they are right off the highway. Nice staff and a overall great stay. Quiet at night even on a Friday! But then again, this is North Dakota!
Back to the review:
I never understood why cleaning staff vacuumed halls before checkout time while people could be still sleeping. I happened to roll in at 3 am so it wasn't appreciated. Management, if you're reading this... advise staff to wait until after standard checkout time before running a vacuum in the hall. Unless you don't care.
I was going to give them 4 stars, then they started vacuuming in the hall directly outside my door (with the do not disturb sign on it as I was typing this.
