I was not an overnight guest, but only visited the pool with some family who were staying there. At the time, the hot tub was out of order and the pool area was kind of dingy. There weren't any towels poolside, but we were able to ask for some. One glaring issue we noticed was a huge potential safety oversight. On one of the banisters in a stairwell there were a couple of missing slats leaving a hole wide enough for a toddler to walk or crawl through which would cause them to fall far enough to be badly injured. The rooms seemed decent.
Security is non existent. Any updates /upkeep is avoided. Sad seeing what use to be a wonderful establishment run into the ground.
We have stayed at this hotel twice now. Both times the hot tub was not working, and one time the pool was closed as well. The only edible thing for breakfast is waffles.
Location is great, very convenient. People at the desk were helpful and friendly. Rooms were double booked. Had we not checked, we could have been charged with extra rooms. Rooms were ok, beds comfortable. No elevator which is inconvenient for families with infants and toddlers, lots to haul. The entire experience could have been so much better had management paid attention to detail. The facilities are an embarrassment. Lots of items that need repair, beginning with security door, hand rails going to second, lots of little room fix-ups like paint and ceiling repair, breakfast counter not cleaned properly. The hot tub has not been repaired since March . . . It's December! The cleaning staff should be fired or re-trained. Hallways and stairways dirty all weekend. These are all fixable items untended. The price was right but we got what we paid for.
Great place to stay. Very comfy. Free breakfast.
