I have an apartment that allows dogs and I have none, just a nice location. I've lived here for multiple years and can tell you these things:
I feel as though this is a fair and honest review.
I was at 5170 Amber Valley Pkwy and the office ladies were wonderful. My washer overflowed and someone came to fix it the next day at 9 am. Absolutely no complaints other than the leases don't usually offer a cancelation thing...you have to find a replacement if you need to move or you have to pay the remainder of your lease.
If you're fine with all of those things prg is for you.
7. Snow is cleared rather quickly from the parking lot.
5. You better hope your neighbors don't get loud dogs because it doesn't matter what time it is when they're loud.
3. Management will do nothing about this. They think a sign will stop future problems. You call to address how nothing has changed and they will say they're aware.
Property managers were unprofessional with poor customer service. I had a window that wouldn't close because the window track wasn't lined up properly (in the winter). When my maintenance request was FINALLY answered, the maintenance guy shrugged his shoulders and said "they are all like that, we can cover it with plastic if you want?" (I would actually like a window that closes instead). I was told that my building was non smoking and pet free, yet everyone smoked and everyone had a dog. There was dog poop all over the grounds that wasn't cleaned up. The hallways stunk like smoke and weren't kept clean. Go to Prarie Property management instead they are wonderful! Great customer service. Snow removal was timely. Apartments were well maintained.
4. Dogs have pooped in the hallway and management will only hang up another sign saying don't do that.
1. Management is kind and helpful
Rented at Birchview apartments. Do NOT RENT from PRG rentals. The building at Birchview are infested with roaches & they try to make you pay for extermination of the unit when this building has had problems with roaches for years. Washing machines are ALWAYS broken. They haven't plowed the parking lot nor do they send anyone out of shovel the walk ways. The security door is always broken, you can never get out of the building.
2. Neighbors let their dogs poop literally everywhere and are too lazy to clean it up.
I have several years of renting with PRG and haven't had any issues. They keep up my building well, update things when necessary, and are pretty friendly. Their answering service isn't the most knowledgeable, but the office staff is. Maintenance is prompt to respond to issues and things generally get fixed on the first visit. The only complaint I've ever heard a neighbor make was that the rent drop box was removed from our building. I can't vouch for other properties, but I like the one I live at!
Also they try to evict you for being a victim of domestic abuse.... Smh. It's sad when you can't call for help or you risk losing your apartment.
6. The buildings are made scary cheap. Designed to look nice, but cost less. Enjoy winter when you realize your padio doesn't actually fully seal.
