-So planning a wedding, I met with them in February to make sure the tent and everything would fit where I want it. Asked about set-up and how long it takes for lights/walls/etc. I then put half the money down in order to hold our renting reservation.
Staff were extremely rude and not very helpful. Treated us very poorly.
- I then sent them a plan/picture of how it all needs to be set up in order for us to have a Tent Permit from the City of Fargo in June. I received no response from them.
All the employees I encountered were extremely friendly. They're nice and helpful. The prices are very reasonable, if anything low, and the guys help you load the items. Will definitely go to them again.
I have decided to never ever rent from Fargo Rentall ever again!

I still ask why not just communicate the time properly and say the rate is for 4 weeks and avoid a situation like this? It is intentionally misleading.
- 6 days before the wedding, we go in to pay the rest of the money (so now we are paid up in full) and give details on when their people are arriving to set up tents. I tell them we can set tables and chairs (the little things).
I learned today that when they quote a monthly rate that means 28 days. I was told that it was commonly known industry knowledge that 28 days is a month. Why not simply tell people when they ask for rates that the rate is for 4 weeks rather than be misleading and say a month? Seems like a really simple fix to be clear with people. Really was misled and they were unwilling to work with me on a compromise to keep me as a satisfied customer.
-3 days before wedding/2 days before setup, they call me and ask if we were providing the Labor for the tent/wall/light set up. I said no. They said "oh, looks like the first guy gave you the wrong estimate for it then. He has it that you are doing the labor." I said no, why would a bride and groom who have no idea how to set up a tent, say we would do that!?
-They say they can send another guy for 2.5 hours, but it will cost us an additional $350!!! Which is BS because it was their fault! (also I highly doubt they pay that other employee $140 an hour to get to that outrageous fee)
I have used Rentall on 25th for chairs for a couple of work events. They have been easy to work with and friendly when I call in to reserve chairs and friendly and helpful when I go to pick them up. Super easy process and I've had no billing problems.
- Day of tare down- one guy comes to pick up the porta pottys, and my father then asks him if they are bringing more people for tearing down the tent. (we had already folded chairs/tables/taken down side walls of tents) The guy said yes, multiple people would be coming out. When the next person showed up, it was one guy, so they lied to our face.
-Day of set up comes- we get it done.
- We had also rented 4 patio heaters, and one of them didn't even work. (and I had multiple people try to get it, and it didn't work)
- Overall not satisfied with them at all.
So in reading their response I figure I would provide more information so the readers judge for themselves. I rented this lift Oct 16th being told I was renting it for a month for $1000. Today Nov 15th I was planning on returning it. One would think that is a months time. As I outlined previously they consider a month 28 days rather than an actual month of time. I get the call today asking how much longer I was needing it extra which is when I found out the confusion of a month. So for those extra 3 days they tell me they are going to charge me $600. I ask what is the weekly rate which I am told is $600 so at this point I may as well keep it for an extra week. They then call me back 5 mins later to tell me if I could return it today they will only charge me $400 extra (keep in mind I still have only had it a month) because it would work better for their future bookings if they could have it back today. They didn't call me back to try and resolve the miscommunication they called back because the reality is they had someone else to rent it. I really still needed its use for two weeks but they didn't want to work with me on that either so I will return it next Monday which is a week later than the 28 days they call a month. Clearly customer service doesn't matter to them but I will let anyone reading this be the judge.
