I have a friend who is a dentist. HE went to Valley.

Stay away from Dr Taylor. Their only option is to do a root canal, they don't give you any other options other than maybe just removing the tooth complete. I would guess he is just in it for the money. They also have a history of having to redo root canals. I would recommend finding a much better option than Dr Taylor.

2). There is a known and anticipated failure percentage for root canal and Dr. Taylor is not exempt from that because every patient is different. Yes, he does retreats, but there is not such a thing as an endodontist who does not have retreats. It comes with the territory. He does a fine job and has less retreats than most.

My dentist referred me to a different office for my second root canal. That was a horrible experience. Painful and no empathy. Next visit to my dentist I said only refer me to Valley in the future.

Our dental office refers many patients here and our patients are always pleasantly surprised by how easy the procedure is and how well it goes.

No one wants a root canal, but Dr. Taylor will ensure you have the best experience possible! Think of it like having a filling; your experience will be similar that when you see Dr. Taylor.

I see another negative review about Dr. Taylor that I would like to address:

I had my first root canal done at Valley Endodontics by referral of my dentist. I don't enjoy a root canal but the process was quick and no problems afterward. The assistant noticed I am chlostrophobic when she installed the tent. She immediately cut it so it wouldn't bother me.

1) he is a root canal specialist so root canals are what he does. If you need a filling or a cleaning, you would see a general dentist. When you need a root canal, he is the perfect resource!

I went in to see Dr. Taylor about a tooth that was cracked and had been previously evaluated by another endodontist. While the other endodontist said that the root couldn't be saved, Dr. Taylor recommended that I try to avoid a root canal by trying a temporary crown first. His emphasis on conservative treatment--even when it would affect his bottom line--put me at ease. If I do end up needing a root canal, I will go back to Dr. Taylor and be comforted knowing that I took steps to conserve my natural tooth as much as possible, which is always best!

We have great success in sending our patients to him and the dentist I work for has carefully selected Dr. Taylor out of the numerous endodontic specialists in the area because his work is top-notch, our patients have a great experience, his prices are fair, and it is an all-around good situation. Mary at their office is also very helpful and knowledgeable.
